This constellation is a constellation of a cat. This constellation was named after the Greek god Cat. Cat was the most royal cat in all the world, and had many brothers and sisters. This is the reason that there are eight stars forming the constellation is because the cat had eight brothers and sisters. His brothers and sisters had always been very jealous of him because he was great and all of the other cats liked him more than his other siblings.

Cat had one adopted family member. This family members name was Alfred Godson. Alfred had always been jealous of Cat and had always felt like he wasn’t as important as Cat because he always had more friends. War came out between Cat and Alfred and Alfred eventually ran away because he was so sick of all the attention that Cat was getting and that he wasn’t getting any attention. This made Cat very happy, now it was just him and the rest of his Cat family. Cat didn’t know that his everyone except for his mom and dad and the other adults in his family hated him. When his brothers and sisters found out that Alfred was leaving to go find a way to get rid of Alfred. Forever. All the cat brothers and sisters liked the idea of their brother being gone for good so they left to go “spend some bonding time with their adopted brother”. Now Cat was extremely happy he had his mom and dad all to himself! After a couple months they all came back and were ready to kill him. Their plan worked and he was dead.

Alfred had always thought that his family didn’t love him or like him as much as his other brothers and sisters, but now that he had killed their favorite son they were very upset. Although they really didn’t want to do this it was a law in their nation that if you kill your brother or sister, you must then be killed by your parent. So Alfred was killed. Alfred and Cat were now both Constellations and Stars in the night sky. Alfred and Cat will continue fighting on through the end of time and will never get along.

Story’s say that Alfred had always wanted to be a huge superhero and had always wanted to be something great. So when he died he had the choice of being anything, or any shape that he wanted to be. Alfred chose to be a bat. A bat to him was a strong animal, that was also very tricky, because he will attack his enemies and the other people he is mad at at night.

The star that is on the bottom towards the chin is a scar of the first fight that he and Alfred go into. The second brightest star that is located up by his ear, is where he got killed by Alfred. Alfred took a sword stabbed it through his ear and it then went into his brain, killing Cat. These two will be at war forever, and will always be fighting.

Nike Constellation

Have you ever looked up into the stars and wondered if you could make anything out of them. Say a warrior or a symbol of some sort. Also, you may wonder what some stars really are. They may appear to be blue or orange or some other color. Then you might wonder why some stars appear to be brighter than others. Well I have, and one night as I was looking up into the stars I noticed something. There were three really bright stars in a triangle. I looked at them for a couple minutes trying to figure out what they could be. Suddenly a figure popped up into my head, a Nike symbol.

I have been tracking my constellation every night to see if the stars move throughout the sky or if they stay in the same spot. I have been recording this for a year in a half, and it appears that you can see the Nike symbol June 3 through August 13. It starts out in the east and moves to the west throughout this period of time. It’s pretty hard to miss due to the three really bright stars. The one star on the right or the tip of the triangle is actually blue. It has a tint of blue to it. So this constellation is actually pretty rare and should be easy to locate.

While thinking of the period that the constellation is in the sky, don’t forget about some of the stars that are in the constellation. As I pointed out before, there are three bright stars in my constellation. If you look closely you will notice that the tip of the Nike symbol looks blue. This is because of the temperature of the star. They rate the stars by their temperature by using letters that indicate how hot or could they are. According to the list, the bluish star is “B”. Which stands for blue-white. The temperature of this star is roughly 6,000 degrees Fahrenheit. This is determined by the relationship between the temperature of a blackbody, and the wavelength of light where its spectrum peaks.

While thinking of the stars in the constellation, don’t forget about the interesting myth that goes a long with it… Along time ago, in a galaxy far, far, away was the all feared Nike weapon. Whoever uses it has the power that can take on the universe. Since this was such a deadly weapon, the penguin tribe had it locked up in a safe from robbers and anyone that might try to destroy the penguin or the universe alone. Of course there are robbers that come often to try to steel this all powerful weapon but have failed every time.

The word spread that this was the key to world domination. Optimist primed hearing this said that there should be no such thing that should be able to accomplish this. So Optimist the mighty that is known for previous rescues set off on a journey to capture this weapon and destroy it forever. The penguin tribe although heard that Optimist was going to destroy their weapon and the whole penguin tribe for keeping this weapon. So the tribe acted quickly for the arrival of Optimist Prime.

Suddenly, the ground started to rumble and then the almighty Optimist Prime was standing in front of their eyes. They all were in awe of his size and his strength. They started launching their marshmallow launchers at him one by one. Optimist saw this and started dodging them all. Knowing that there was nothing more that the tribe could do, Optimist went for the Nike. The penguin unleashed their last weapon, Megatron. While the army started retreating to the Nike Safe Megatron faced Optimist. What Optimist didn’t know was that Megatron had the Nike and the safe was just a decoy. So Megatron had a huge advantage. The fight began with Megatron shooting his rockets at Optimist. Optimist had no problem dodging them. Then Optimist fired his lava at Megatron. Megatron had never seen anything so powerful before. Getting hit with the lava Megatron flew back into the Mountain. Megatron was sick of this and revealed the Nike. Optimist was ready to capture this Nike. Megatron transformed into a jet and flew toward Optimist. Optimist jumped and caught on to Megatron. Megatron transformed back to regular. Optimist was behind Megatron and Megatron had no idea where he was. Optimist was about to finish him off. Optimist Prime was famous for his knife skills. So optimist stabs Megatron through the heart and fires a bullet. Megatron explodes and the Nike was finally Optimist.

The penguins were in the safe now safe as possible. Or that's what they thought. Optimist fires one more bullet to the safe and with the power of the Nike, the safe blew into a million pieces. Optimist destroyed the Nike forever. In remembrance of the Nike, The Gods put the Nike right next to the Optimist Prime constellation. Optimist was rewarded with another transformer, Bumble Bee. Since then people started putting the Nike symbol on shoes, and clothing to resemble power.

If you look up into the night sky during the summer months of the year you will be able to see the most famous constellation known to man. This constellation is known as the Pizza consultation and is made up of the most famous star in the sky, Pepperoni. To find this constellation all you will have to do is look up and find the Big dipper. Directly north of the big dipper is the three fingers of the constellation King Fred the 55th. Those fingers are the three stars Fred the 56th, Fred the 57th, and Fred the 58th. They were named after King Fred’s the 55th’s three suns. The three fingers of the constellation point to the constellation Pizza. There is a wide known myth behind the creation of the constellation Pizza.

A long, long time ago there lived a wealthy king who was the ruler of the land of Eat a Lot. His name was King Fred the 55th and he lived with his wife and 5 children. All day he would eat while servants did the work. There was nothing more enjoyable to him that eating. He had very few talents and very few interests. Because his wife was very loyal to him she did all his hard work of ruling the land but no one in the village knew this.

One day the wife of King Fred the 55th got deathly ill. She couldn’t do anything but lay in bed and sleep. Fortunately she had the best care in the whole land. Unfortunately this meant that King Fred the 55th would have to do all of his work by himself. The servants were too busy taking care of the queen to help King Fred the 55th. Because Queen Fred the 55th always handled the problems and she never had to tell her husband how to do the work. King Fred the 55th was up a creek because he had no idea what he was doing.

For the first few days everything went smoothly. No one from the village came to him with any problems and there was enough food in the freezer to last him 3 days. But later more problems started to occur. Villagers were fighting over their land and crops and no one knew what to do. King Fred the 55th wasn’t good at solving problems. Many people left the town and nothing was getting done. No crops were getting planed and soon the village would run out of food.

The only food left was 10 frozen pizzas. King Fred the 55th could easily eat those buy himself in one day. The only problem was those 10 pizzas had to last the whole village for a long time. The Queen Fred the 55th was still ill so no servants were able to cook or go and find food. King Fred the 55th was starting to get worried. Some way he needed to find a way to control his people and make them work and grow some food. He needed to do this as soon as possible.

It wasn’t as easy as he thought that it would be in his head because the people of the village didn’t want to corporate. The wanted to leave the king all by himself and let him starve by himself. Their plan was to leave the village as soon as the food was all gone so they would have to do as little work as possible.

King Fred the 55th could not stand for this. How could his own people disobey him like this? How was he ever going to survive? So the next day he told the people the truth about how his wife had been doing all the work this whole time and how he really didn’t know what he was doing. He begged them to stay and help him to rebuild the village. In return for their courage and kindness he granted them all freedom. They wouldn’t be ruled by a king anymore yet they would all be part of a democracy.

The village people were so proud of what the king did. They couldn’t believe how honest he had been about what the queen had been doing all along. So they listened to their king and helped him through this tough spot. From that day forward there was a star in the sky that shown the brightest to all the people. They decided to name it after their great leader, King Fred the 55th.

It wasn’t until the next generation of people came through until the village named a constellation. They found the piece of pizza facing their past king. So from that day forward the constellation pizza would point towards King Fred the 55th’s hand.

The tale of Sirius

One day the government received a report from space that Sirius is going to crash into the Earth. So they decided to shoot a missile at it so that it would not crash into the Earth and kill everyone known to mankind. Meanwhile inside of a boy named James house who was a kid who had no friends saw this on the news. The boy knew it was only the stars moving like they normally do, when he realized this he tried to call the government to not launch a missile and destroy Sirius. Why would they listen to a child though and especially one nobody liked . They obviously did not listen to him.

So James ran to the store to buy a shield to guard the shield with he didn’t have that much money so he just bought a toy one he found at the store. (But in his head he knew that the shield would never be able to block such a force as a missile). So he decided it was going to have to be a sacrifice. He ran back to his house to tell his mom and dad they would never see him again and that he loved them. His mom’s response was

“Are you an Idiot”
“How are you supposed to get to space” his dad said
“ I will fly”
“How is that possible” said his mom
“I will do an MJ” he said
The last thing James saw was his mom smacking him in the face with a rolling pin. When James woke up he saw a sign that said YOU ARE NOW ENTERING THE MENTAL FACILITY OF PEWAUKEE.

W-w-what are we doing here” said James
“You can’t be trusted to stay with us anymore” said his Mom
“Saying you are going to jump into space and kill yourself”
At this James was furious and broke off the car door. Then he MJ’ed into space and started flying toward the missile approximately 500 miles away from Sirius. James thrusted his arm and threw the shield at the missile as James thought the shield wasn’t enough. He was forced to sacrifice himself to save Sirius and that is what he did as the missile was about to hit James flew in front of it and blew up .

Strangely the missile didn’t even hurt him it was a fake he knew this because on the side of the missile which was a note with his mom handwriting that said JUST KIDDING. James did not think this was funny and stared to cry because everyone tricked him. He tried to fly back home but he ran out of air and died. Meanwhile at James house his Mom knew he was dead and her and James Dad started to laugh and said finally that Idiot kid is gone. ‘

The next day………….
James parents started to feel bad for him and to honor him they sent six stars into space in form of a shield around Sirius to show how determined he was to try and save it.

Our group of Matt Andrew and Kyle found that the most interesting part would have to be the information about how constellitions werent discovered but invented. Many people would think that constellitions would have been discovered but after researching them more indepth we found out that they werent just stars and random pictures people though of today but much different.

Leah T., Emily S., Alex W. - History of the Space Program

Our group, Emily, Alex, and I, actually enjoyed working on this project. We gathered research and made an animoto with that information. One thing that our group enjoyed the most was actually finding the pictures for the project to go with the text that we have. Many interesting things were learned, including events that happened over time in the space program and some advances in the program, including the Hubble telescope and fireproof space suits. The research was pretty easy since we got most of it from the book and the rest of it from the timeline. It was a pretty fun project.

John, Parker, and Summer - Moons of our Solar System

I really enjoyed this project. The most fascinating thing that all of my group members were learning about had to be Jupiter's Moon, Callisto. It was cool to know about the facts of the moon. My group members and I thought that the research was easy. We found a good website for earth's moon and for the other moons that we researched. This was a cool project that we got to do and I think we should do it again.

David H, Teah A, Joe H - Astronauts and Astronomers

The most interesting piece of information that we found was that Buzz Aldrin is also a rapper along with an astraunaut. James Lovell was a part of Apollo 13 and came back becuase the oxygen tank eruptured and they were de-hydrated.
Our research process was that we found out some people on some missions that we knew, then we researched the other people in that same mission. Also we researched people that we already knew about but then found out more that we never knew about.\
